Radio Leicester still number one
大象传媒
Radio Leicester is still the number one local station in the area,
according to the latest Radio Joint Audience Research (RAJAR) figures
released today.
A massive
205,000 people in Leicestershire and Rutland are tuning to 大象传媒 Radio
Leicester each week, an increase of 21,000 listeners since the last
quarter - making it the most popular local station in the area it
serves.
Liam
McCarthy, Managing Editor, 大象传媒 Radio Leicester, says: "This
is fantastic news and I'm absolutely delighted for the team who
have worked incredibly hard and with great enthusiasm to keep us
at the top.
"Our
sports coverage has been particularly successful as we followed
the fall and rise of Leicester City - and now we have two reasons
to celebrate with Leicester City back in the Premier League and
us being the number one station in the area."
Andy
Griffee, Controller, 大象传媒 English Regions, adds: "Today's RAJAR
figures again show that 大象传媒 Local Radio is doing a great job of
connecting with the audiences we serve.
"大象传媒
Local Radio reaches millions and is a lifeline to many. I would
like to thank the extraordinary people who work so hard to produce
the exceptional, quality service we offer for another great showing."
