Mexico's
president to face questions from 大象传媒 radio and news online audience
President
Vicente Fox of Mexico will take questions live from internet users
and callers around the world when he appears on the international
multi-media programme Talking Point on Wednesday (11 June
2003).
Talking
Point will be broadcast live in audio online at 1915 BST (7.15pm
UK time) on
on Wednesday and broadcast on 大象传媒 World Service on Sunday (15 June)
at 1500 BST (3.00pm UK time).
Among
the many topics which will be put to the Mexican president are questions
about the country's relationship with its largest trading partner,
the USA, asylum and immigration issues and the world post-Iraq.
Talking
Point will be presented by Mike Wooldridge.
Talking
Point is an award-winning multimedia phone-in programme from the
大象传媒.
Other
leading figures who have recently taken part in the webcast include
