A host of
well-known faces will be broadcasting from Queen's Square in Wrexham
next week as part of Wrexham Science Festival.
Jamie Owen, Nicola Heywood-Thomas, Owen Money and
Roy Noble will be bringing the events of one of the UK's fastest
growing science events to listeners across Wales.
The week's broadcasts include an interview with Professor Lord Robert
Winston, who is opening the festival, and resident Radio Wales chef
Chris Keenan who is cooking live in Queen's Square.
听
There will also be broadcasts from around Wrexham on
the travelling 大象传媒 Community Bus.
Budding radio dramatists across Wales will also be tuning in for the
results of the Science Festival's radio drama writing competition, which
will be announced during the week.
听
The winner stands to win 拢1,000 as well as the
opportunity to have their programme considered for broadcast on 大象传媒
Radio Wales.
听
Radio Wales' 'Gene Genie' Cat Whiteaway and
presenter Charlotte Evans will also be helping people trace their
family trees at a Look up your Genes workshop which will be recorded
for broadcast on Radio Wales later this year.
听

Wednesday 24 March
10.30am-4.00pm: Look up your Genes workshop - come and explore your
family tree with Cat Whiteaway and share your family history with Charlotte
Evans.
11.00am-noon: The Jamie Owen Show - Jamie Owen's own blend of lifestyle
advice and music. Come along and meet Jamie at Queens Square.
2.00-4.00pm: Owen Money - join Owen Money at Queens Square between 2pm
and 4pm for an afternoon of entertainment, music and quizzes.
Thursday 25 March
Noon-2.00pm: Nicola Heywood-Thomas - Nicola Heywood-Thomas chairs the
daily radio Wales debate live from Queen's Square, Wrexham. Come and
join in!
2.00-4.00pm: Owen Money - join Owen Money at Queen's Square for an afternoon
of entertainment, music and quizzes.
Friday 26 March
9.00-11.00am: Roy Noble - popular Welsh broadcaster Roy Noble broadcasts
his programme live from Queen's Square, with horoscopes from John Dee.
2.00-4.00pm: Owen Money and Frank Hennessy - Owen Money and Frank Hennessy
will be in Queen' Square with live music and entertainment. Come along
and join in the fun.
