Chris and Nicky are two people who fall in love though
the odds are stacked against them in this contemporary love story starring
two disabled actors in lead roles for the first time.

Chris already has a girlfriend and he's 16 years older
than Nicky. But the most significant obstacle is their disabilities.
听
Nicky is a small person, four feet and one inch tall,
and Chris is a thalidomide impaired person with short arms and no thumbs.
听
Chris (Mat Fraser) is 40-years-old, a teacher
with aspirations to be deputy head.
听
He has a beautiful girlfriend Michelle (Lorraine
Pilkington) and, with the support of his parents, he has achieved
so much despite his disability. He thinks he's got it all and life's
great.
听
Nicky (Lisa Hammond) is a hairdresser in her
early twenties who likes nothing more than going clubbing with her best
friend, Jen (Georgina Ackerman).
听
When Jen points Chris out across a crowded nightclub
there's an undeniable spark but falling in love with another disabled
person is the last thing that either of them would want.
听

Every Time You Look At Me is a searching insight into the choices
of two people.
听
Chris and Nicky are drawn into a relationship that is
both liberating and painful.
听
Individually neither of them see their disability as
an impediment to succeeding with their lives but when they consider
a future together that changes.
听
And, if they are to have a future together, they must
face not just the prejudice of the outside world but also of their own
families and of each other.
听

Lindsey Coulson (The Stretford Wives, EastEnders)
also stars as Kath, Nicky's mum, a woman who will stop at nothing to
protect her daughter.

With John Woodvine as Chris's father, Roger,
Stuart Laing (Cambridge Spies) as Chris's brother Steve and Adjoa
Andoh (Casualty) as Mrs Berry, head teacher at Chris's school.
