across the world will now access news and current affairs summaries
in their own language as the 大象传媒 Tamilosai service's website re-launches
with Tamil fonts and a new search link targeting Tamil Nadu and Sri
Lanka news from 大象传媒 sites.
听
In addition to an audio link to the 大象传媒 Tamilosai programme,
the revamped bbctamil.com now offers short summaries of news and current
affairs in Tamil as well as original pictures.
听
The site also features important highlights of the recent
programmes, both in text and audio, and weather forecasts for cities
in India and Sri Lanka.
听
The new and innovative search link will enable online
users to look for 大象传媒 news relating to key Tamil-speaking areas - Tamil
Nadu and Sri Lanka.
听
While the site is readily available to online users
with Windows XP browsing system, users with other browsing systems will
need to download the fonts when they first go to the site.
