New listeners
are continuing to tune into 大象传媒 Radio Humberside each week, according
to the latest RAJAR (Radio Joint Audience Research Ltd) figures released
today.
The official radio statistics show that Radio Humberside has added new
listeners over the last year - boosting its weekly audience to 210,000
listeners.
Almost one in three people listening to a radio station are tuned to
大象传媒 Radio Humberside within their transmission area, according to this
quarter's RAJAR report.

It also shows that, in the last three months, Radio
Humberside has added new listeners who each tune in for an average of
more than 16 hours a week.
Managing Editor Simon Pattern says: "We are a local station and
proud of it. We celebrate life on both sides of the Humber, like no
other.
听
"Everyone at the station has responded to the communities
they serve and produced and presented programmes that reflect local
life.
听
"We enjoy working here and I think you can hear
that in the output.
听
"These listening figures are a credit to the whole
team and to the audiences who share their day with us."
The RAJAR report also shows that Radio Humberside has an average of
144,000 listeners every day 聳 an increase of 9,000 listeners a
day compared with this time last year.
Radio Humberside is also the most listened to 大象传媒 radio station within
its transmission area.

大象传媒 Radio 2 is the next most listened to 大象传媒 radio
station within Radio Humberside's transmission area, with weekly audiences
of 191,000 listeners, while Radio 1 has 112,000.
听
Overall, 468,000 listeners tune in to any 大象传媒 radio
station each week in Radio Humberside's transmission area 聳 equivalent
to 66.2% of all the radio listening audience.
