New listeners
are continuing to tune into 大象传媒 Radio Lincolnshire each week, according
to the latest RAJAR (Radio Joint Audience Research Ltd) figures released
today.
The official radio statistics show that Radio Lincolnshire has added
29,000 new listeners over the last year - boosting its weekly audience
to 141,000.
More than one in four people listening to a radio station are tuned
to Radio Lincolnshire within their transmission area, according to this
quarter's RAJAR report.
It also shows that Radio Lincolnshire has an average of 90,000 listeners
every day 聳 an increase of 13,000 listeners a day compared with
this time last year and 6,000 more listeners than three months ago.
听
Listeners are also tuning in to Radio Lincolnshire
for around 13.5 hours each week.
Managing Editor Charlie Partridge says: "We are a local station
and proud of it. We celebrate life round here like no other.
听
"Everyone at the station has responded to the communities
they serve and produced and presented programmes that reflect local
life. These listening figures are a credit to the whole team."
387,000 people listen to 大象传媒 national or local radio within 大象传媒 Radio
Lincolnshire's transmission area each week.
听
大象传媒 Radio 2 has a weekly audience of 158,000 listeners
and Radio 1 has 144,000 listeners in Radio Lincolnshire's transmission
area.
听
Overall, 77.6% of all the radio listening audience is
tuned into 大象传媒 radio within 大象传媒 Radio Lincolnshire's transmission area
each week.
