Jeff Zycinski has
been appointed the new Head of Radio Scotland and Margaret
Mary Murray is the new Head of Gaelic.
听
Jeff Zycinski (pronounced Zizinski) was born in Glasgow
in 1963 and educated at the Central College of Commerce, Glasgow College
of Technology (now Caledonian University) and gained a postgraduate
Diploma in Journalism at University College Cardiff.
听
He joined the 大象传媒 in 1992, working as a Senior Producer
in Selkirk before moving to Inverness where he produced the Tom Morton
morning programme.
听
He launched the Lesley Riddoch programme, the Gary Robertson
Show and the SoundTown project which links the 大象传媒 with Scottish local
communities.
听
He was most recently Editor, Entertainment and Events
whilst managing 大象传媒 Scotland's Community Partnership Project and Programme
Diversity team.
听
He is married with two children.
听
Margaret Mary Murray was born in the Isle of Lewis in
1966 and educated at the Nicolson Institute and Glasgow University.
听
She joined the 大象传媒 as a television researcher in 1988
and worked on a wide variety of programmes ranging from children's to
documentaries, drama and current affairs.
听
She produced and directed the award-winning series charting
the relationship between the Gael and the sea, An Ataireachd Bhuan /
The Everlasting Sea (1991), was series producer of Eorpa from 1993 to
1998, and Editor from 1998 until 2003 when she was appointed Executive
Editor of the Gaelic department.
She is married with two children.
