In memory of those killed
in the Asian tsunami disaster, a 大象传媒 News Special: Asia Remembered
will be shown on 大象传媒 ONE and 大象传媒 News 24 on Wednesday 5 January 2005
from 11.30am to 12.15pm.
The programme will include the EU-wide three minute silence at noon
while showing scenes from around the UK.
Dermot Murnaghan will present the programme with
live reports from Jon Sopel in Sri Lanka and an update
on the Disasters Emergency Committee's fundraising efforts.
大象传媒 TWO will also observe the three minutes silence at noon along with
C大象传媒 and 大象传媒 World.
The 大象传媒's analogue and digital radio networks will also be carrying
the three minute silence.
