Are you an unsigned singer, MC or group trying to make your mark in British Asian music?
听
The 大象传媒 Asian Network has been at the forefront of promoting new Asian music in the UK, giving British Asian artists such as Jay Sean their first opportunity to perform live on national radio.
听
The 大象传媒 Asian Network is this year again launching its unsung talent competition, where three lucky finalists will be given the opportunity to perform with some of the biggest names in the industry at a live music show to be held at the Birmingham Symphony Hall on 31 March.
听
Full competition details are at bbc.co.uk/asiannetwork, along with an entry form, rules and details of where to send entries.
听
The overall winner will get the opportunity to create their own portfolio, including a professional demo recording and photo session, to highlight their potential as a music artist.
听
Judges will be looking for a performance that it is felt would do particularly well in the British Asian music industry, and could have mainstream appeal.
听
Entries will be short listed from the audition tapes with three finalists going forward to receive performance training and to have their performances re-recorded for broadcast on the Adil Ray show.
听
Weekdays from 10.00pm throughout February, Adil Ray will also be handing out tips and advice for entries and talking about what it takes to make it in the British Asian music industry.
