MG Rover chairman John Towers takes questions from
listeners to 大象传媒 West Midlands' Ed Doolan Show, including
former workers from Birmingham's Longbridge factory, during a live phone-in
on Wednesday 20 April.
The
Government has ordered a formal investigation into the accounts of MG Rover and its owner,
Phoenix Venture Holdings.
But John Towers is likely find the live phone-in a much more passionate affair
than the Government-appointed enquiry, as it gives former workers from
the car-making plant their first opportunity to quiz their former boss.
Keith Beech, Managing Editor of the Birmingham-based station, said
of the interview: "Here at 大象传媒 WM we pride ourselves on
being the station that gives the people of the West Midlands a voice.
"Workers and families at MG Rover have turned to us in their droves
in recent weeks. A chance to question John Towers and his colleagues
is what people have asked for - and that's what they'll get on the Ed
Doolan Show on Wednesday morning."
During the show, which runs from 10.00am to 1.00pm, John Towers faces an
hour of questions between 11.00am and noon.
Ed Doolan, renowned for his tenacity, will take regular breaks from
the interview to take questions from listeners via text, email
and on the live phone-in.
大象传媒 West Midlands transmits on 95.6FM.
