Broadcasting legend Desmond Lynam returns to Wimbledon as he joins 大象传媒 Radio Five Live for its coverage of the 2005 Championships.
听
Des is a familiar voice to tennis fans as he presented 大象传媒 Radio's coverage of the tournament in the Seventies before moving to cover the tournament for 大象传媒 Television.
听
Des will present a show every weekday evening from Wimbledon at 7.00pm where he will be joined by celebrity guests from the world of entertainment such as Jonathan Ross as well as current and former tennis players including John McEnroe.
听
They will look over the highlights from each day both on and off the court.
听

Michael Stich returns to Five Live again this year and will be joined by tennis legend Pat Cash.
听
Pat will be on every day and together these tennis greats will provide unique insight into the tennis.
听
They will commentate throughout Wimbledon fortnight alongside correspondent Jonathan Overend and expert analysts including Tracy Austin and Annabel Croft.
听
Simon Mayo and Clare Balding will reunite to present the daytime coverage live from the All England Club.
听
Coverage will start at 12.30pm and will stay on air until 7.00pm.
听
In this programme there will be live coverage as well as the usual guests that you would expect to find on Mayo's daily programme.
听
Sports Extra will have live coverage every day up to and including the quarter-finals.
听
Commentary from Five Live and Sports Extra will be streamed through bbc.co.uk/fivelive.

The site will also include classic Wimbledon moments as chosen by Five Live analysts Frew McMillan and Christine Janes.
