The 大象传媒 today (Monday 3 May 2005) publishes the findings of the Programme
Complaints Unit (PCU) for the period 1 January to 31 March 2005.
听
Complaints received after 1 February 2005, which will
be dealt with under the terms of the 大象传媒's new complaints procedures,
will be reported separately.
听
In this quarter, the Unit dealt with 146 complaints
concerning 96 items.
听
19 complaints were upheld (12 of them partly) - 13 per
cent of the total.
听
Of the items investigated in the January to March quarter,
complaints were upheld against 14 items - 14.4 per cent of the total.
听

complaints, launched on 1 February 2005, is underpinned by an emphasis
