大象传媒 Sport turns its spotlight on women's
football in June when, for the first time in the history of the competition,
England plays host to the UEFA European Women's Championship
(Women's Euro 2005).
听
Airing exclusively on 大象传媒
TWO, the tournament kicks off at the City Of Manchester
Stadium on 5 June and culminates in the final on 19 June at Ewood Park.
听
The competition will consist of eight teams, split into
two groups - with England lining up alongside Sweden, Finland and Denmark
in Group One, while Group Two pitches Norway, France, Italy and Germany
together.
听
England's live coverage will be hosted by Celina
Hinchcliffe, who will be joined in the studio by ex-QPR, Newcastle
and Chelsea player, Gavin Peacock; Leeds and former
England captain, Karen Walker; and her club teammate
and current England international, Sue Smith.
听
Gavin and Sue will also be in the studio during the
highlights programmes.
听
Steve Wilson will provide commentary
for all live matches. Co-commenting with Steve will be former England
international, Marianne Spacey.
听
Commentary on the other games throughout the tournament
will be provided by Guy Mowbray and John Murray.
听
大象传媒 cameras will follow England's progress, showing
all their matches and the final live - plus highlights of other games.
听
Reporting from the England camp will be Rebecca
Lowe, providing features and reports for both live and highlights
programmes.
听
Radio Five Live will
also air England's games and the final live, as well as providing regular
updates from the England camp.
听
