London bomb attacks: 大象传媒 schedule changes - 8 July

Following yesterday's bomb attacks in London there were further changes to 大象传媒 broadcast schedules today (Friday 8 July).

There was extended news coverage on 大象传媒 ONE this morning to 10.30am and again from 11.00 to 11.25am to cover a Metropolitan Police press conference.

大象传媒 ONE's One O'Clock News and 大象传媒 Radio 4's The World at One were extended to 45 minutes.

On 大象传媒 ONE tonight from 9.00 to 10.00pm Only Fools and Horses: Modern Men will replace What's the Problem? With Anne Robinson and Before They Were Famous.

大象传媒 TWO's Newsnight at 10.30pm is extended to 11.35pm and Newsnight Review is dropped.

The planned 大象传媒 World Service schedule for today is: special continous news schedule to noon (UK time); Noon: Outlook; 1.00pm: Newshour (extended to two hours); 3.00pm: normal schedules; 4.30pm: special Talking Point programme; 5.00pm onwards: normal schedules.

Tomorrow (Saturday 9 July) there will be news coverage on 大象传媒 ONE from 6.00 to 10.00am. C大象传媒 programmes move to 大象传媒 TWO.

Weekend changes on 大象传媒 Radio Five Live include replacing Saturday's Ian Wright Show (7.00pm) with a repeat of The Real Bernie Ecclestone.

On Sunday at 7.30pm Five Live's Alternative G8 presented by Christian Fraser from South Africa has been added to the schedule.

And on Radio 2 on Saturday because the REM concert is not taking place in London's Hyde Park there will be a repeat of Duran Duran: Live and Exclusive at 9.30pm.
