The event begins at 6.30pm, Friday 15 July in
Chamberlain Square Birmingham. Big Screen Birmingham airs the live event
from the Royal Albert Hall.
Big Screen Birmingham in Chamberlain Square is the
place to be for those who simply can't wait for the last night of the
Proms.
听
To celebrate the first night of the Proms, the Big Screen
organisers have drafted in the cream of the region's classical musicians
who promise to blow music fans' minds with a live, rousing performance
in the centre of Birmingham.
听
Flag wavers will enjoy 80 members of the Birmingham
Philharmonic Orchestra playing some of their favourite classical pieces
from 6.30pm in the run-up to the 大象传媒 coverage, which airs on the screen
from 7.00pm on Friday 15 July.
听
Birmingham City Council provides the benches and tables
so the audience can enjoy a summer's evening picnic during the event.
听
Big Screen Birmingham's manager, Geraldine McCullagh,
says: "We're expecting the sun to shine during this event, so it should
be a great treat for families to come and enjoy some free entertainment
and listen to some of their favourite classical pieces of music."
听

The concert's conductor is Michael Lloyd while CBSO
member Byron Parish leads the Birmingham Philharmonic Orchestra.
