There has been a significant jump in the number of listeners tuning into 大象传媒 Three Counties Radio year-on-year since the station extended its editorial area, according to the latest figures released today by RAJAR.

The figures show that 208,000 people listen each week - that's an extra 49,000 listeners in the Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire regions, compared to last year.

The number of hours that listeners are tuning into Three Counties Radio has also risen year-on-year from 9.67 hours to 12.04 hours - the station's best ever figures.

In addition to this, the audience share has also increased from 6.9 per cent to 9.5%, year-on-year.

This follows 大象传媒 Three Counties' recent success at the Sony Radio Academy Awards in May, where the station won the Interactive Radio gold award for Robert Perrone's breakfast show and - having been nominated for the fifth year running - the Station of the Year award.

Paul Jirgens, Senior Broadcast Journalist, Three Counties Radio, says: "This is a fantastic achievement for the station, particularly in such a competitive marketplace.
