The 大象传媒 is searching the world for the winner of a unique new award.
听
Teaming up with the Yorkshire Tourist Board's White Rose Awards, 大象传媒 Yorkshire today (Monday 12 September) launches the Yorkshire Moments Award to celebrate exceptional memories of God's Own County.
听
Head of regional and local programmes, Tamsin O'Brien, said: "We want people to tell us about places in this region that have given them special moments - and the 大象传媒 will honour the best of the stories at this year's White Rose Awards.
听
"Perhaps the moment is a wedding, a Yorkshire sporting event, perhaps someone discovered a long-lost relative or celebrated the birth of triplets.
听
"Whether you live in Yorkshire or on another continent, if you have an inspirational memory set in the region, we want you to share it with us."
听
To enter for the award, people need to explain your Yorkshire Moments memory, including:
听
- what place your Yorkshire Moments memory is linked to
- why you were there
- and when
- do you still visit the place or are you still linked to it in some way?
听
...And all in no more than 100 words.
听
The winner will be presented with their award by 大象传媒 Look North's Harry Gration and Christa Ackroyd during the glitzy awards ceremony on Tuesday 4 October at York's National Railway Museum.
听
The winner will then be treated to a night in one of York's premier hotels.
听
