Today egg cups go on sale for Children in Need
听
大象传媒 Radio 4's Today is to produce a set of collectable breakfast egg cups to support this year's Children in Need appeal.
听
The hand-crafted, hand-painted egg cups - produced by Bairstow Manor Pottery - are moulded into the familiar faces of John Humphrys, Sarah Montague and Jim Naughtie.
听
They go on sale today (Monday 24 October) for 拢12.50 but will only be produced and sold between now and Christmas.
听
Listeners will be able to buy a set of three, a pair, or even an individual egg cup - if they feel their favourite Today presenter is un oeuf.
听
At least 拢2 per egg cup will go to Children in Need.
听
Today Editor, Kevin Marsh, said: "These egg cups are eggcellent for collectors - or for listeners who just want somewhere to put their breakfast egg."
听
Last year, the Today calendar helped listeners raise more than 拢100,000 for Children in Need.
听
Today egg cups can be ordered eggsclusively online via the Today website, bbc.co.uk/today; by post to the Radio 4 Today Programme Promotion, PO BOX 326 Sittingbourne, Kent, ME9 8FA; or from any 大象传媒 shop.
