To introduce the new series of Little Britain on 大象传媒 ONE, Tom Baker will be the continuity announcer for the launch evening on Thursday (17 November 2005).

But don't expect the usual announcements about what's up next...

The script has been written by Little Britain creators, Matt Lucas and David Walliams, and Tom will be guiding the audience through the evening's entertainment in his character as the narrator of Little Britain.

With such gems as: "Hello telly viewers, you're watching the 大象传媒 ONE. At nine o'clock it's Little Britain - the greatest show in the history of broadcasting... but first it's time for The Great Big Bid. Oh mah sweet potatoes!"

And: "In half an hour, Jenny Dickens' classic serial Bleak House. But first let's see what the poor people are up to in the first of two visits this evening to the Eastender."

Viewers are sure to be surprised and contiunally entertained throughout the course of the evening.

大象传媒 ONE's new Thursday night line-up kicks off with Children In Need's The Great Big Bid, a double helping of EastEnders, Charles Dickens' epic story Bleak House and the return of the critically acclaimed comedy The Worst Week Of My Life - starring Ben Miller, Sarah Alexander and Alison Steadman - following the much anticpated new series of Little Britain.
