In this week's Friday Night With Jonathan Ross, there's an exclusive appearance from Gorillaz creators Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett, who unveil two new animated creations from the band - Murdoc and Noodle - in Jonathan Ross's green room.
听
Blur frontman Albarn also uses the opportunity to express his dislike of Live 8: "I thought it was rubbish. the intention was good but it left everyone with an empty feeling. It should have been more of a celebration.
听
"What did it achieve? What kind of feeling is sent out to the world when the world watches it and doesn't see anyone from Africa there?"
听
About The X Factor, he says: "I don't like [any of] that - it's a rubbish part of our culture; the sooner we bin it the better."
听
And on forthcoming Channel 4 reality show, Space Cadets, he says: "It's not right, it's cruel."
听
Jonathan also welcomes to the show Jeremy Clarkson, who's bemused about winning an International Emmy for Top Gear: "I didn't even know we'd been nominated. I got a text at four in the morning. I'm going to have it on the front of my car."
听
He also reveals that he lusts after Kristin Scott Thomas: "I've been so much in love with that girl for so long."
听
And Hollywood superstar Patrick Swayze talks about his destructive streak that only his wife can keep in check: "I have a perfectionist mentality, I have manic energy, push the edge in everything I do in my life... I played the alcohol game. I've been a boy in a man's body for such a long time. if Lisa [his wife] wasn't in my life, I'd be dead 150 times."
听
And there's music from Mercury prize-winner Anthony & the Johnsons featuring Boy George, performing You Are My Sister live in the studio.
