Steve Herrmann has been appointed the new Editor of 大象传媒 News Interactive.
听
The role includes editorial responsibility for the output of the 大象传媒 News Website which attracts 12 million unique users a month.
听
He takes over from Pete Clifton who was made permanent as Head of 大象传媒 News Interactive in October.
听
Herrmann has been part of the 大象传媒 News Interactive team since its launch in 1997 and has been the editor of World News for the past five years.
听
He has been employed by the 大象传媒 for most of his career, which he began at 大象传媒 Monitoring in 1985.
听
Pete Clifton, Head of 大象传媒 News Interactive, says: "Steve has an excellent journalistic pedigree and has been an inspiring World Editor.

"He will bring great energy, commitment and vision to his new job as Editor of News Interactive."

Steve Herrmann says: "It's obviously a huge privilege to land the job of running such a successful operation.
