Top Malawian musician Wambali Mkandawire will give exclusive performances to support the 大象传媒 English for Africa programme Network Africa when it broadcasts live from Blantyre in Malawi to debate the country's food crisis.
听
大象传媒 presenterBola Mosuro will host the debates which take place on Saturday 10 December and Sunday 11 December at 6.00am local time each day.
听
She will be discussing with special guests in the studio and by telephone the social, economical and environmental affects of the crisis on the country.
听
She will also link-up with local reporters on the ground in the region as they bring the voices and concerns of Malawians living in the drought-affected areas.
听
Listeners to Network Africa can also connect with the programme by sending their views via SMS text message to: + 44 77 86 20 50 85.

Bringing flavour and entertainment to discussions will be Afro-jazz singer Wambali Mkandawire who will perform on the Saturday edition of Network Africa.
听
He will be joined by Malawian poet and writer Benedicto Malunga who appears on the Sunday edition of the programme.
听
Joseph Warungu, Editor of Network Africa, said: "Malawi is a key market for us with nearly two million listeners.

"The food crisis is an issue close to their hearts and we wanted to take this opportunity to speak to them and hear how they are coping.

Listeners can tune into its programmes in Blantyre on 98.7 FM and on Capital Radio 102.5 FM; in Lilongwe on 98 FM and on Capital Radio 102.8 FM; in Mzuzu on 87.9 FM and Capital Radio 102.5 FM; and Mangochi on Capital Radio on 105.4FM.
