Blackpool, renamed Viva Blackpool for the US market, has been nominated in the category Best Mini-Series or Motion Picture made for television.

Written by Peter Bowker (Flesh And Blood, Shakespeare Re-Told, Canterbury Tales), Blackpool - which starred David Morrissey, Sarah Parish and new Doctor Who David Tennant - has already pick up two BANFF Awards.

David Morrissey is due to reprise his role in a one-off special which is due to begin filming in January 2006 for transmission in the spring on 大象传媒 ONE.

Finally, The Girl In The Caf茅, a Tightrope Pictures production in association with HBO for 大象传媒 ONE by award-winning screenwriter Richard Curtis, garnered two acting nominations in the Mini-Series or Motion Picture made for television category for stars Bill Nighy (Love Actually, State Of Play) and Kelly MacDonald (Gosford Park, Trainspotting, State Of Play).
