大象传媒 Essex presenters Steve Scruton and Angela Lodge are in their final days of preparation for the 81-mile Essex Way walk across Essex.
听
Their first steps will be taken from Epping Underground Station on Monday 1 May and their first day ends seven miles later at High Ongar Bridge in Chipping Ongar.
听
The gruelling 13-day schedule will see them cover some of Britain's most beautiful landscapes.
听
Each day involves an average six mile walk with a live broadcast from each location en route.
听
Steve said; "The nerves are starting to set in. It is a long way to cover I just hope I've prepared enough for it.
听
"I'm looking forward to meeting and greeting local people along the route, and hopefully having a few of them joining us along the way."
听
The pair will be raising funds for the Essex Air Ambulance.
听
To find out how the duo are getting on listen each day to 大象传媒 Essex on 95.3 and 103.5 FM or on digital radio.
听
To join Steve and Angela along the way call the 大象传媒 Essex helpline on 01245 348348 or download the walk from bbc.co.uk.

听
The walk is a great example of 大象传媒 Essex working in partnership with other organisations to bring the listeners the beauty of the county.
