大象传媒 reports World Cup for Mumbai's Radio One

The 大象传媒 will deliver the news and excitement of FIFA World Cup in Germany to the listeners of the Mumbai-based radio station, Radio One.

大象传媒 reporter Manak Gupta will file daily regular reports, interviews and other stories from various venues in Germany.

There also will be packages about World Cup history, main players and profiles of the participating national teams and the countries they represent as well as other football trivia specially produced by the 大象传媒.

The 大象传媒 output will be part of Radio One's Football Dhamaal [Footall Extravaganza] season of programming which will run until the end of the world's most important football tournament.

Radio One is a joint venture between Mid-Day Multimedia and 大象传媒 Worldwide, the 大象传媒's commercial arm, for operating FM radio stations in India.

大象传媒's Senior Commissioning Editor, Neil Curry, said: "I am delighted with the opportunity to showcase 大象传媒 sport journalism to our listeners in India.

"I hope our special World Cup programming tailored to our FM listeners in Mumbai will convey the atmosphere of the football championship and cater to their need for more in-depth information about the beautiful game."

Radio One FM 92.5, Mumbai is a hit radio station targeting the young Mumbaikar featuring Bollywood music and chat. The other metros, including Bangalore, Chennai and Delhi will go on-air in the next few months.
