Monologues of Johnny
Vegas, the star of 大象传媒 Radio Five
Live's World Cup Tapes, will be made available to view on interactive TV or mobile phone next week.
听
Five Live Listeners sent in scripts for short monologues about the tournament and the best have been commissioned and played on the station during the Victoria
Derbyshire programme (weekdays at 10.30am).
听
The scripts were read by Vegas, actor Kwame
Kwei Amah and Two Pints of
Lager and a Packet of Crisps actress Sheridan
Smith.
听
From today Thursday 29 June) you can text Vegas to 81010 and get sent back a video clip of Johnny Vegas performing the scripts direct to your mobile phone.
听
On 2, 3, 6 and 7 July, TV viewers will be able to
go interactive and press the red button after 9.00pm and watch Johnny Vegas
doing two entire monologues mixed with footage of the World Cup.
听
Commissioning Editor Moz Dee said: "By
offering the world cup tapes online, on interactive television and
on mobile, we are reaching out to new audiences across many platforms.

looks great delivering them too."

There will be a further two Johnny Vegas monologues available on 6 and 7 July.
