大象传媒 ONE's Six O'Clock News will be on the road for a series of special reports looking at the Changing Face of Britain.

Natasha Kaplinsky will co-present the bulletin from a number of locations including Christchurch in Dorset, Cardiff, Glasgow, Birmingham and the Yorkshire Dales.

Reports from correspondents around the country will run from Monday 4 to Friday 8 September, and will look at issues including:

The increasing numbers of elderly people staying in the workforce

The effect of European immigration on existing ethnic minority communities

City dwellers moving out to rural areas

The ambitions of young people in old industrial areas

Hate crime and differences in legislation between parts of Britain

The week will begin with the results of a specially-commissioned survey assessing how people feel about the way things are changing in Britain.

Natasha Kaplinsky said: "I'm looking forward to going on the road to some of the places in Britain where life is changing. This is a great opportunity for the Six O'Clock News to talk to people living across the country, and get a real sense of the issues concerning people in our cities and rural areas."

Ben Rich, Deputy Editor of the 大象传媒's One and Six O'Clock News, said: "Many changes in the way we live creep up on us and do not get widely reported day to day. These reports will try to capture some of those."
