New 大象传媒 Head of Region in Hull announced

Cath Hearne is to be the new head of region for 大象传媒 Yorkshire and Lincolnshire based in Hull.
听
Currently the Editor of 大象传媒 London News, she replaces Helen Thomas who has
become the new head of region for Yorkshire, based in Leeds.
听
Cath said: "I'm really looking forward to the move north.
听
"The new region of
Yorks and Lincs has already built a strong reputation - they won the RTS best
regional programme award ahead of 大象传媒 London last year.
听
"If you can't beat'em,
join'em!" 听
Previously Editorial Co-ordinator for the 大象传媒's Nations and Regions, Cath was
responsible for co-ordinating the successful launches of the regional current
affairs programme Inside Out and the transfer and integration of the regional
politics programme into The Politics Show on 大象传媒 ONE.
听
She has worked on launches of 大象传媒 Breakfast and the Ten O'clock News and was a
director in 大象传媒 North East and Cumbria - where she won RTS (Royal Television Society) Best Regional
Programme.
听
She was also a director on Premier Passions, a five-part 大象传媒 ONE documentary
broadcast in 1998 following the fortunes of Sunderland AFC.
