Courtney Love gets personal with Jonathan Ross
Rock star-turned-actress and now author Courtney Love gets personal on Friday Night With Jonathan Ross tonight on 大象传媒 One.
听
In a frank interview she talks
about her drug habit:
"I was given drugs at an early age .. my father gave me LSD at the age of four [but] I don't remember anything about it . [eventually] I got to the point of my life the media was so not understanding, especially the British last summer. I thought I'm not doing drugs any more. Now I'm one year, four months clean."
听
Courtney also talks about her relationship with Kurt Cobain: "I never thought I would be defined by the man that I was with, it shocked me when it happened.
听
"Kurt was a tough scrapper, a man's man. I loved him and he was my best friend, but he wasn't a saint or fragile, either ... I tend to go for people with problems that run very deep and I don't know why that is."
听
She also talks to Jonathan about nudity:
"[Back] then everything was just perfect, now it has to be well lit, it's easy for me to get my kit off, I don't know why. It's all those years of stripping, I guess."
听
And about her views on religion: "The Scis (scientologists) are cool, but it gets a little wacky. In my opinion Ron L Hubbard's writing gets really naff - as we saw at Tom Cruise's wedding."
听
Jonathan also welcomes to the Ross sofa Top Gear's Jeremy Clarkson, who confirms that fellow presenter Richard Hammond is continuing to make a great recovery.
听
Jeremy says: "I was rushed up to see him, and he was reading Auto Trader! And one side-effect of his accident is that he now likes celery."
听
The show also includes chat with Simon Pegg and David Schwimmer, teaming up for a new movie, and there's music from Juliette & The Licks performing new single Sticky Honey live in the studio.
听
A Hotsauce TV/Open Mike production for 大象传媒 One.
