Poll for Radio 4's PM suggests union between England and Scotland has positive benefits

An opinion poll conducted for PM on 大象传媒 Radio 4 suggests that the Union between England and Scotland has given positive benefits.
听
The survey, carried out by ICM to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the Act of Union, suggests that 80% of Scots and 57% of English people believe the Union has been of benefit to them.
听
More than three-quarters of those surveyed in both countries said they thought the Union flag was a positive symbol of Britain, while majorities in England and Scotland would also support the creation of a Britain Day to celebrate a national sense of togetherness.
听
Asked how they most readily identified themselves, 54% of respondents in Scotland considered themselves more Scottish than British, while 40% of people in England said they felt equally British and English.
