Win the weatherman
|
Viewers of 大象传媒's Look North (Yorkshire) are to get the chance to
win the programme's popular weatherman Paul Hudson.
听
Programme producers are to launch a competition on Tuesday 8 May 2007 which
will allow viewers to win the special prize of Paul broadcasting the
weather from their back garden, allotment or window box for the 6.30pm
show.
听
The competition will involve people watching the programme to see what
colour shirt Paul wears each day. They will then need to explain why he
should film from their home.
听
Anyone missing the show can log on to the
大象传媒's Where I Live sites bbc.co.uk/leeds, bbc.co.uk/southyorkshire, bbc.co.uk/northyorkshire and bbc.co.uk/bradford to catch a repeat
of the programme.
听
Look North Editor Tim Smith said: "Paul is a very popular character
around Yorkshire and he loves his gardens.
听
"We thought it would be a
really nice idea to take him out and about, and give viewers the chance
to meet him, and show off their gardens and window boxes while we
broadcast the weather."
听
The winner of the first competition will be announced on Tuesday 15 May
and filming will take place on Friday 18 May.
听
The competition will be launched on Tuesday evening's programme and is
set to run throughout the summer.
听
Notes to Editors
