Strong slate for ´óÏó´«Ã½ Films
´óÏó´«Ã½ Films approaches the 60th Cannes Film Festival with a strong and
varied list of co-productions.
Ìý
Set to roll later this summer is Sam Mendes' Revolutionary Road, based on
the celebrated novel by Richard Yates.
Ìý
The film re-unites five-time Oscar nominee
Kate Winslet and three-time Oscar nominee Leonardo di Caprio – for the
first time since the 1997 all-time box office hit and Oscar winning
Titanic – to play the leading roles in this heart-rending story of
thwarted passion and the search for fulfillment.
Ìý
John Maybury's The Edge Of Love (formerly known as The Best Time Of Our
Lives), starring Keira Knightley, Sienna Miller, Cillian Murphy and
Matthew Rhys, has just started shooting.
Ìý
A beautifully drawn love story,
the film tells the story of two feisty, free-spirited women, Caitlin
Thomas and Vera Killick, Vera's husband William Killick, and the
brilliant, charismatic poet Dylan Thomas who loves both women.
Ìý
Set to shoot later this summer is Julian Jarrold's Brideshead Revisited,
starring Ben Whishaw, Matthew Goode, Hayley Atwell with Emma Thompson and
Michael Gambon.
Ìý
A heartbreaking romantic epic adapted from one of the
truly great works of fiction of the 20th century, Brideshead Revisited is
a gorgeously evocative story of forbidden love and the loss of innocence
set in a pre-Second World War era when privileged aristocracy fell into
decline.
Ìý

dramatic family story that brings the heart of Africa to the big screen.

places on earth, the Kalahari Desert, the film is about meerkats growing
up, pulling together and beating the odds.
Ìý
Three ordinary blokes may hold the fate of the entire world in their
