This is a significant increase in the numbers of listeners compared to last year's results, showing that Radio Wales has sustained the excellent gains made last quarter.

Ìý

In particular, the Jamie Owen Show, the Radio Wales Phone-In with Richard Evans and The Afternoon Show have all gained listeners. And on the weekends, the Money For Nothing show has also seen a boost.

Ìý

´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Cymru has also scored its highest number of listeners for over a year – with an increase of 11,000 from last year.

Ìý

There has also been a healthy increase in listeners to the station's youth service, C2.

Ìý

The latest radio listening figures – covering the period from 26 March to 24 June 2007 – are from Rajar (Radio Joint Audience Research Ltd).
