´óÏó´«Ã½ Sport retains The Masters in new three-year deal
´óÏó´«Ã½ Sport has retained the broadcasting rights to The Masters golf tournament by securing a three-year extension to its current contract with Augusta National Golf Club.

The Masters has been broadcast by ´óÏó´«Ã½ Sport every year since 1986 and this unprecedented deal ensures UK coverage of the world's most prestigious golf tournament remains exclusively with ´óÏó´«Ã½ Sport up to and including 2010.

The agreement provides the ´óÏó´«Ã½ with live television and radio rights, plus additional online rights.

On the new deal, ´óÏó´«Ã½ Director of Sport, Roger Mosey, said: "This three-year deal marks a significant milestone in the relationship between the ´óÏó´«Ã½ and The Masters.

"We are proud of our history together, and this allows us to continue to develop the relationship – and guarantees free-to-air coverage of a truly great tournament to the UK public."

- The Ryder Cup – TV highlights, live radio and online rights until 2012.
- BMW PGA Championship, The Barclays Scottish Open, The Quinn Direct British Masters and HSBC World Match Play Championship – shared live TV, radio and online rights and highlights until 2012.
