Notes to Editors
听
The new frequencies for 大象传媒 Radio Bristol:
听
- 94.9FM in Bristol
- 103.6FM in Weston-super-Mare
- No change for 104.6FM in Bath or on DAB digital radio, the internet or cable television.
听
Background to the changes:
听
The new 94.9FM frequency will offer a better signal for Radio Bristol listeners and the switch allows 大象传媒 Somerset to have an FM frequency of its own.
听
大象传媒 Somerset will begin broadcasting on Radio Bristol's old frequency, 95.5FM, on Monday 3 December.
听
These changes bring 大象传媒 Somerset into line with other 大象传媒 Local Radio stations that all have their own FM frequencies.
听
This frequency change means that the broadcast area covered by Radio Bristol will reduce for Rajar (Radio Joint Audience Research Ltd) audience figure purposes.
听
Rajar is an independent survey system which tracks radio listening for both 大象传媒 and commercial stations.
