Confessions on 5 Live

Nine out of ten people consider themselves honest, however more than half admit to stealing, according to an online Confessions questionnaire for 大象传媒 Radio 5 Live.

In addition:

Four out of ten respondents admitted to cheating on their partner, mostly affairs for women and one-night stands for men

One in ten of all respondents confessed to paying for sex (over 1,000 men and 55 women)

Almost a third have secretly read partners emails or text messages

Over half regularly drive over the speed limit and four out of ten have driven over the legal alcohol limit, with nearly a third of men admitting to damaging someone's car and not owning up

Over half of the respondents have taken sickies when not really ill

Two-thirds have lied about liking a Christmas present when they did not

The results of the Confessions questionnaire, inviting listeners to confess their sins, will be debated on 5 Live Breakfast and the 5 Live phone-in over the Christmas week, starting Monday 24 December 2007 at 9.00am.
