Tonight on ´óÏó´«Ã½ One's Friday Night With Jonathan Ross, legendary Bond girl beauty Britt Ekland says Peter Sellers should have been sedated.

"Today he would be called a manic depressive, put on lithium and have a good life.
Ìý
"I didn't know what to do in those days [but] things were gentle then. The media was very much on our side, they knew what was happening but they didn't write about it, that doesn't exist any more."

And she says she was chatted up by Michael Caine and Peter Sellers on the same day: "Peter Sellers asked me out for a drink. Earlier the same day Michael Caine asked me to have dinner with him, but he never called, so..."

Lost star Naveen Andrews tells Jonathan Ross he lost two years to heroin: "There was a danger of me copping it ... I lost two years to heroin, but I was able to work, I don't know how I did it. You can take incredible abuse and still work ... I collapsed on a job because of booze.
Ìý
"When I was younger it was open, it was a miracle I got any work done. On The English Patient I was warned ... but I used to collapse out of shot. The turning point was I drove my son when I was drunk and he was scared, and that's when I decided to go into rehab in LA."

And he's sticking with Lost: "I'm still proud of the first season, around the third I thought they were winging it, the writing was poor [but] I'm definitely doing two more years."

Jonathan is chatted up by ´óÏó´«Ã½ One's Mistresses stars Sarah Parish, Sharon Small, Shelley Conn and Orla Brady.

And he teases music guest Morrissey by offering him a cheeseburger and asking: "Are you still a vegetarian?"

"Yes," says Morrissey, "even more so."
