ATL TV is back!

ATL TV (Across The Line) returns for a fourth series on Monday 18 February on ´óÏó´«Ã½ Two Northern Ireland at 10.00pm.

Ìý

Jam-packed with all the latest from Northern Ireland's music scene, ATL TV aims to bring the hottest music videos, interviews and live performances to your screens.

Ìý

Fronted by ATL's Rigsy, the new series will have the hottest local acts performing each week.

Ìý

The first programme of the series will feature Belfast electro pop duo Oppenheimer performing Look Up whilst the rest of the series has exclusive performances from the likes of Fighting With Wire, Foy Vance and Panama Kings.

Ìý

New to ATL TV, there will be a chance to see Northern Ireland's top bands and artists as you have never seen them before. Dublin-based animation studio, Eyebrowy have produced short animations for ´óÏó´«Ã½ Northern Ireland presenting a short history of Snow Patrol, Ash and Divine Comedy amongst others.

Ìý

ATL TV will also be putting someone from the music industry in the hot seat each week, starting with David Dewaele from Belgian DJ combo 2 Many DJs (also a part of Soulwax), and the first programme will also see Rigsy delving into the mind and music of Glaswegian singer-songwriter Amy McDonald.

Ìý

The new series has also given new talent a chance by teaming up local bands with local directors to make their very own music video. These will be played each week on the show along with some of the biggest videos from home and abroad.

Ìý

Presenter Rigsy says: "There's not a single band in the entire series we don't 100% believe in – they're all amazing in different ways. We've got some great new directors making videos, some decent live music and a few big hitters in there to get people watching!

Ìý

"We've also some really interesting feature stuff this time around, including a flashback to the Good Friday gig at the Waterfront with Ash and U2 ten years ago, a history of dance music in Northern Ireland and a feature on (the lack of) females in Irish rock! I can't wait to sit down and watch it all, let alone present it."

Ìý

ATL RockSchool is also returning to ´óÏó´«Ã½ Two Northern Ireland.
