Radio Gloucestershire gains 6,000 new listeners over last year

Staff at ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Gloucestershire are celebrating today after
research figures released show that the numbers of listeners tuning
in has risen significantly compared to the same period last year.

According to the latest official figures released by RAJAR (Radio
Joint Audience Research Ltd), 102,000 people listen to
Radio Gloucestershire each week – that's an extra 6,000
listeners tuning into the station.

Mark Hurrell, Managing Editor, Radio Gloucestershire, says: "This is great news for us as we've now broken the 100,000
listeners-a-week milestone for the first time in the station's
20-year history.

"It's a real boost for us to know that we're
appealing to an increasing number of people across the county."
