Cynthia Nixon talks about Sex And The City on The Graham Norton Show
Tonight on The Graham Norton Show on 大象传媒 Two, Sex And The City star Cynthia Nixon drops a few hints about the plot of the new film and reveals that she hopes New York will one day have same-sex marriages.
听
Cynthia jokes about the film. She says: "There are some very shocking things. Maybe Mr Big is really a woman! That would be hard to pull off!"
听
Cynthia tells Graham that she was surprised by the crowds at the UK premiere. "We were shocked, there were thousands of people there. We hadn't thought about that part."
听
She also talks about why she went naked for the film.
听
"I go the most naked, more than any of the other women. They [the writers] ask you and then they convince you," she says. "They use different techniques on every one of us - with me they say how important it is for the character."
听
And she suggests that she would like to marry her partner. "鈥榃e live in New York, it doesn't have same-sex marriages. One day soon hopefully [that will change] and then we would consider it."
听
The music on tonight's show is provided by One Republic, who perform live in the studio.
听
Graham is also joined by actor David Mitchell from Peep Show and That Mitchell And Webb Look, who reveals a youthful ambition.
听
He says: "When I was a teenager I was a megalomaniac, I wanted to be Prime Minister. Now it doesn't seem like such a good job. At university I thought all the students who wanted to be politicians were complete a**eholes. Look at the nerdy people who get to be PM."
