One of the most talented violinists of his generation, Christian will also perform a special chamber recital on Friday 20 June with pianist Lars Vogt.

Ian and Karen will play solo items, as well as their signature works, Rodrigo's Concierto d'Aranjuez and Elgar's Romance for Bassoon and Orchestra.
Ìý
This concert also features a solo performance by 18-year-old flautist David Smith from Edinburgh (a finalist in the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Young Musician of the Year 2008) and features the orchestra in some of the most enduring classical works of all time, including Beethoven's Fifth Symphony and Copland's Fanfare for the Common Man.
