Radio 1 Live Lounge hits the road

大象传媒 Radio 1 announced today details of the Radio 1 Live Lounge
Tour 2008.
听
The tour, hosted by Jo Whiley, will be a week of live
performances direct from the living rooms of some of the biggest
names in music, all of whom perform stripped down versions of
their own songs, along with unique cover versions.
听
Jo will
broadcast live from the homes of the artists and invite Girls
Aloud into her own house.
听
The tour kicks off on Monday 22
September 2008.
听

Girls Aloud (from Jo's house)

Razorlight (from their rehearsal studio)

Jo Whiley said: "The Live Lounge is always a really special moment
in the show for me and I can't wait to go out on the road again.
听
"The line-up we've got this year is amazing and it always makes
it even more exciting to be broadcasting live from the homes of
the bands themselves."

Past tours have featured artists including Noel Gallagher, Lily
Allen, The Kooks, Jack Penate, Mika and Stereophonics.
