Ewan Angus, Executive Producer for ´óÏó´«Ã½ Scotland, said: "This is exciting to be supporting and developing comedy talent from the different worlds of television, internet and stand-up for our audiences in Scotland."
Comedy Unit Creative Director Colin Gilbert added: "The Comedy Unit's work with ´óÏó´«Ã½ Scotland has produced some of Scotland's best-loved comedies and we're confident that these three very different series featuring the next generation of Scottish comedy talent will continue to make Scotland laugh."
Burnistoun, written and performed by Robert Florence and Iain Connell, features hilarious sketches based around the residents of a fictional yet strangely familiar Scottish town named Burnistoun.
Scottish internet sensation Limmy stars in Limmy's Show – an exciting new comedy series that combines character pieces, visuals and sketches.
Gary: Tank Commander is a brand new sitcom featuring Scottish BAFTA-winning writer-performer and stand-up Greg McHugh as Gary McLintoch, a soldier who returns home from Iraq to the barracks and offers unique insights into both worlds.
The three series will be produced by The Comedy Unit, part of the RDF Media Group, and the executive producer for ´óÏó´«Ã½ Scotland is Ewan Angus.
