´óÏó´«Ã½ Sport will be showing comprehensive, live and exclusive coverage of the 138th Open Golf Championship which commences on Thursday 16 July at Turnberry.
Presenters Gary Lineker and Hazel Irvine will be covering all the action at the challenging links course in western Scotland.
Expert commentary and analysis will be delivered by the TV team of Peter Alliss, Ken Brown, Sam Torrance, Mark James, Wayne Grady and Andrew Cotter.
The TV line-up is completed by the on-course team of Paul Eales, Maureen Madill and Philip Parkin with reporters Shane O'Donaghue and Dan Walker.
More than 40 hours of coverage will be broadcast over the four-day competition on both ´óÏó´«Ã½ One and ´óÏó´«Ã½ Two. This will start at 9.00am on Thursday 16 and Friday 17 July, at 10.00am on Saturday 18 July, and at 11.00am on Sunday 19 July.
Viewers can also look forward to a Championship Preview programme airing on Wednesday 15 July on ´óÏó´«Ã½ Two at 11.20pm.
´óÏó´«Ã½ Sport Online will carry live streaming of the network feed, along with rolling highlights, live leaderboard, live text commentary, blogs, news and archive audio-visual footage from past Opens.
´óÏó´«Ã½ Red Button will broadcast comprehensive coverage on each day of The Open. Viewers will also be able to select a three-hole option where you can see play through the 9th, 10th and 11th holes only.
All live coverage will also be available on ´óÏó´«Ã½ iPlayer.
John Inverdale presents ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio 5 Live's extensive coverage of the British Open from Thursday 16 July, with four days of live golf action plus all the build-up ahead of the tournament.
Radio 5 Live golf correspondent Iain Carter leads the commentary with expert analysis from three-time Ryder Cup captain Bernard Gallacher, Ryder Cup player Andrew Coltart, former US Tour player Jay Townsend, top coach and former player Mark Roe and regular 5Â Live summariser and former Tour player Andrew Murray.
Alongside Iain in the commentary team are John Murray, Alastair Bruce-Ball, Russell Fuller, Conor McNamara and Vassos Alexander, with ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio 2 presenter and golf fanatic Chris Evans reporting from around the course.
The 5 Live Sport programme will have all the news from Turnberry during Open week from 7.00pm.
And Chris Evans presents a special Open preview programme on 5Â Live Sport at 7.00pm on Wednesday 15 July, from a nearby golf club, with a panel of experts in front of a live audience.
On Thursday 16 and Friday 17 July Nicky Campbell presents 5 Live Breakfast, including the Breakfast phone-in, live from Turnberry, from 6.00 to 10.00am.
From 10.00am until 7.00pm John Inverdale presents live commentary from the Open with all the stories, interviews and analysis, plus regular updates from the second Ashes Test from Lord's.
On Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 July John Inverdale presents 5 Live Sport from 12noon live from Turnberry with all the action from the final two rounds.

Ireland's Padraig Harrington is aiming for a hat-trick of Open victories, following his wins at Carnoustie (2007) and Royal Birkdale (2008). However, he will face stiff competition from a world-class field including a resurgent Tiger Woods, US Masters champion Angel Cabrerra, Sergio Garcia, Phil Mickleson, England's Paul Casey and Northern Irish sensation Rory McIlroy.
