Curry On Camping with Adil and friends

Adil Ray

´óÏó´«Ã½ Asian Network listeners will be waking up to a breath of fresh air on Friday as Adil Ray broadcasts his breakfast show live from a campsite.

The Adil Ray show, along with celebrity guests, will tackle the joys of a desi-style British camping holiday in a one-off show – Curry On Camping.

Joining Adil under the stars will be ´óÏó´«Ã½ Three's Mind, Body And Kick Ass Moves host Chris Crudelli – who will be leading an early morning work-out – camp medic and Holby City actor Hari Dhillon, chef Ravinder Bhogal, who will be cooking up a healthy desi breakfast, and, finally, ex-Big Brother contestant Sree Dasari.

As part of the special show, Adil's regular Golden Oldies half-hour will feature a live performance from singing sensation and Godfather of Bhangra, Channi Singh, who will be joined by his daughter Mona Singh, H Dhami, Mumzy Stranger and Navin Kundra.

Adil Ray says: "It's a real sign of the times when we can combine that great Asian tradition of cramming ten people into a humble abode and the great British tradition of having a good curry."

Curry On Camping will be broadcast on Friday 25 September 2009 from 7.00 to 10.00am on the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Asian Network.
