The steel city of Sheffield has seen some pretty fierce rivalry on the football field. Now, Kevin Blackwell and Brian Laws are going to play out a battle of the minds.
The two managers have agreed to take part in a special charity version of the long-running quiz A Question Of Sport, organised by ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Sheffield.
They'll be joined by Radio Sheffield's Paul Walker and Seth Bennett and two other sporting guests. The quizmaster will be Look North's Harry Gration.
All money raised will go towards the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Sheffield Kids' Scanner Appeal for the Children's Hospital, in Sheffield.
A Question Of South Yorkshire Sport takes place at the Pennine Lecture Theatre, at Sheffield Hallam University, on Thursday 10 December.
Tickets are free, but a donation of at least £5 is being requested per ticket. Doors open at 7.30pm for a recording that starts at 8.15pm and the entire show will be broadcast on ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Sheffield the following weekend, on Sunday 13 December at 1pm.
To get your tickets you need to call in to reception at ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Sheffield, or write to the station at 54 Shoreham Street, Sheffield, with your ticket request, enclosing a stamped-addressed envelope.
So far, ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Sheffield has raised more than £180,000 for a new CT Scanner, but it needs to hit a target of £500,000 by the end of March next year.
Station editor Hannah Kennedy said: "This promises to be a great night out. We all know about the rivalry between the two managers on the football field, and it'll be interesting to see how they cope on questions of sport.
"I'd like to thank them both for giving up their time to take part in this event and hopefully raise a lot of money for our kids' scanner appeal."
