Louise Redknapp, singer and TV presenter, joins Tim Lovejoy and chef Simon Rimmer as the new host of ´óÏó´«Ã½ Two Daytime's hit Sunday morning show, Something For The Weekend.
Louise joins in January 2010 following her three-week stint as a guest presenter earlier this year.
The show, now into its third year, is regularly watched by 1.1 million viewers who whet their appetite each week with mouth-watering recipes, TV previews and celebrity chat.
Louise shot to fame in girl band Eternal in the Nineties before launching a solo career, selling more than four million records in the UK alone.
Since then she has moved into TV presenting, working on The Clothes Show, ´óÏó´«Ã½'s Royal Ascot Coverage and Farmer Wants A Wife, among others.
´óÏó´«Ã½ Two Daytime also announces it has recommissioned the series up until Spring 2011.
The show has grown steadily since its launch in October 2007 with audiences increasing from 0.4 million and 6% share to a peak of 1.1Â million and 15.4% share in October this year.
Louise Redknapp says: "I've really enjoyed my stint in the summer, having the opportunity to interview some great guests.
"Working with Tim and Simon and presenting live is an exciting prospect. It will definitely brighten up my Sunday mornings."
Liam Keelan, ´óÏó´«Ã½ Daytime Controller, says: "Louise seems like a natural fit for the series which has gone from strength to strength over the last two years.
"We are thrilled to be welcoming her onboard, and I'm sure she will be a fresh new addition to the hit series."
Louise replaces nutritionist Amanda Hamilton who leaves the show at the end of this year.
Something For The Weekend is produced by Princess Productions. The ´óÏó´«Ã½ executive producer is Gerard Melling, and the executive producers for Princess Productions are Tim Cunningham and Henrietta Conrad.
