Newscaster Harry Gration will be hitting the hurdles, weatherman Paul Hudson will be doing the high jump and sports reporter Tanya Arnold will be going for gold in the 60-metre sprint as part of a special ´óÏó´«Ã½ Yorkshire Celebrity Heptathlon to raise money for Sport Relief.
The charity heptathlon event in the English Institute of Sport, Sheffield will be held at 3.00pm on Sunday 21 March 2010.
Harry said: "We're urging the fabulous viewers of ´óÏó´«Ã½ Look North to come along and support this superb cause – if only to see Paul and myself in Lyrcra shorts and falling at the first hurdle!"
The three TV personalities will each lead a team in the event which includes seven activities: sprint hurdles, 200 metres, long jump, high jump, javelin, 60m sprint and relay.
The teams will consist of local sports personalities, actors and musicians.
Radio Sheffield's Toby Foster and Look North's Christa Ackroyd will host the event – with expert advice from Sheffield's very own world heptathlon champion Jessica Ennis and commentary from Radio Sheffield's Sports Editor, Paul Walker.
Tickets for the event are available from the English Institute of Sport booking office, telephone: 0114 2565656.
