At 00.01am on Friday 5 November, the National Union of Journalists began industrial action over proposals to reform the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Pension Scheme. This action will run for 48 hours until 23.59 Saturday 6 November.
We are doing everything we can to deliver programmes and services to our audiences. However we anticipate there will be some disruption to the schedule and apologise for this.

Radio – 5 Live Breakfast show as planned. Radio 4 Today programme replaced by Lord Kitchener's Image and Off The Page but with news bulletins broadcast at 6, 7 and 8am; no Thought For The Day. Radio 3 had no breakfast show. All 40 local radio stations on the air; half operating normal service; others have core bulletins and reduced service
Nations – Radio Scotland replaced by 5 Live output. Good Morning Ulster replaced by 5 Live output, but with bulletins from Belfast at 7am and 8am.

´óÏó´«Ã½ Press Statement: We are disappointed that the NUJ have gone ahead with today's industrial action. This is despite the other four unions accepting our revised offer, and feedback from staff that indicates the same. It is the public who lose out and we apologise to our audience for any disruption to services.
